My friend and I had a wonderful time with Gary learning how to cast with two hands. It didn’t take too long to get the knack and when you hit it just right it was a good feeling. Gary supplies everything so the excursion is extremely easy to arrange. I would highly recommend Gary to anyone looking to advance their fishing skills or looking to just have an exciting day.

Gary ran a two day course on the lower pavilion beat on the tweed last week, and although conditions were against us we all had a good time, caught a few kelts and learnt a great deal on how to cast properly in all sorts of conditions. Very well run coarse.

Spent two days in Garys company on a casting course and really enjoyed the way he had so much time for everyone and nothing was any bother , also the way that he put teaching into terms that everyone could understand and carry out once shown. A skill missing in alot of instructors today.

I had my first day with Gary Feb 7th 2008. Conditions for fishing not great , the water was very high and coloured after so much rain , and the only Salmon we got hold of was smoked !.
However I had the most fantastic day learning new things and had a great lunch prepared by Gary and enjoyed beside the log fire in the hut meeting some other fisherman who made me feel very welcome.
I will definitly go again and try some new things , Gary was happy to do what I wanted to make the most of the day , we even had a pint of Guinness.
